As the International Editorial Representative of Psychology Times, I am pleased to announce that I will be attending the APA Annual Meeting to be held in San Francisco in 2026.

This participation forms a strategic pillar of the ‘Editorial Bridge’ work we have been carefully sustaining among the United Kingdom, Türkiye, Canada, and the United States. Our fundamental aim is to bring a universal perspective to the field of mental health by merging academic research, lived experiences, and interdisciplinary dialogue into a single crucible.

Bringing together researchers, educators, and editors who keep their finger on the pulse of the global psychiatry world, APA 2026 places the following critical topics at its center:

  • The Science of Lived Experience: The blending of scientific research with the real and unique life story of the human being (with learned expertise).
