Rabia Özge Aksüt
A bridge between psychoeducation, neuroscience, and human experience.
About Me
I was born in İstanbul, Türkiye — a city shaped over centuries by the cultural and spiritual exchanges that have flowed through the lands of Mesopotamia. Growing up within this rich context, I developed an early and enduring curiosity toward life, the human experience, and the nature of healing. Being raised at the same time amid different cultures and belief systems allowed me to grasp the world’s multiple identities, values, and searches for meaning through a deeper and more open perspective.
From an early age, certain questions drew my attention: What is the nature of the self? How does inner stillness come into being? How do our thoughts and emotions shape who we are? Over time, these questions formed the foundation of a deeper exploration into human experience. My curiosity moved beyond the individual, turning toward our shared human experience — our struggles, our resilience, and our capacity for transformation.
Today, my work takes shape at the intersections of fields such as neuroscience, interoception (inner perception), exteroception (outer perception), trauma, awareness, adaptation, addiction, the experience of migration, and human agency. This work develops alongside my graduate education in counseling psychology and progresses within a psychoeducational framework.
I publish my writings — which bring together research, lived experience, and cross-cultural perspectives in the field of psychology and mental health — on the Psychology Times platform, where I also contribute editorially. Alongside this, I produce psychoeducational content and pursue collaborations through short writings, video content, and education-oriented public workshops.
Note: Our work consists of educational programs intended to support personal growth and individual awareness. No clinical services or medical interventions are provided. All shared content is prepared with editorial care, with the aim of strengthening collective awareness.
